Anyone in the UK do home based data entry work?

Posted by:  :  Category: FAQ

Question by Pimmie: Anyone in the UK do home based data entry work?
Just wondered as I’m a full time mum with one at nursery and another due to start playgroup two days a week in August – the company I have found charge £10 for the training material but then you get paid £10 via paypal for every form completed – with a possibility to earn £250-£500 per week.

Just looking for some guidance as I was once told never to take a homebased job if you have an outlay to make in the start.

Many thanks.

I agree
years ago I spent a lot of postage following up on all these work at home things only to find that it would cost me something to start
and when the finished work was sent in, they always managed to find something lacking so they didn’t have to pay you, all these things were outlined in the instructions
no, if there are ads for you to work at what you can do for X money, fine, but do not pay out first

Q&A: stay at home mom with a business idea?

Question by onelove1075: stay at home mom with a business idea?
when my daughter was born i made all of her food for her(very occasionally ate store bought baby food). anyhow, everyone i knew used to tell me how they would love to do that or wished they had been able to do that for their kids. i thought it was pretty easy, i mean i worked when my daughter was first born and actually didnt stop working until she was about 2 but they all said the same thing, no time! so ive been looking for a job for a bit now without any success and have been thinking about offering this to new families. i would do it in my home but have absolutely no issue doing it in the families home if they have safety/cleanliness concerns. i would deliver it, etc ready to go in the freezer or already frozen and in individual servings blah blah blah. i am very aware of allergy situations, i am also a licensed nurse so i would address that very specifically with each family and also would NOT be doing this as a “nurse”, too many liabilities involved if i market myself that way. i guess my question is would you guys trust someone to make homemade baby food for you? to me it sounds like a good idea i mean people buy their own meals premade and stuff and there are also catering services, etc i just dont know if new moms/dads would go for it…what do u think?
