Question by Jen: What are some business ideas for a stay at home mom?
I`m very creative and wish to start a business I can carry from my own home. I have a degree in Business Management and recently finished a diploma on Child Development. I speak spanish, love to write, am a photoshop expert…I`ve got some ideas but wish to extend my list to chose from. Any business ideas??? Please no jokes.

you could be a blog writer. a lot of professional websites want regular, professional blogs to post on their site to keep their content fresh and help with search engine optimization. you could freelance professional blogs. you could probably charge per blog and generate 5 a day fairly easily. if you had 25 websites on board, you could write one per week for each site and make approximately 00 per month. check out elance.com for assignments.

Fahion is something I am passionate about. I am not into designing but I am soon to enroll in a fashion studies certificate program at a top college in the city. I want ideas about what I can do with a small loan and start a business at home. I need ideas as in, what do you think could be unique and could sell. I am from India and there are tons of indian designers out here as well as lots of stores selling indian clothes. I want to provide some service in fashion. Let me give you an example. I saw a lady on Apprentice who got this idea to make business bags for corporate women. Her idea was so cool. I need ideas like that. I know its something I should come up with but just trying my luck to see if someone could chip in some unique idea.

Right now I work part time and until I get my narcolepsy taken care of I really can’t work a full time job. However, the pay just isn’t cutting it. I’d like to find some sort of job I can do at home to bring in some extra cash and to keep me busy. I’m not talking those earn thousands your first week schemes either.

Being an affiliate marketer — selling someone else’s products for a commission — is an easy way to earn some extra cash.
